LITHO
Litho printing provides a high quality finish and is most cost effective for large print runs
and when compared to digital printing, it also allows for:
• Greater choice of materials (e.g. the finish and the weight of the paper/board)
• Wider selection of finishing techniques such as thermography (raised), foil blocking,
spot UV varnishes
• Larger sheet size - digital is confined to SRA3
• Better quality of image
• Consistency of colour
• Letterheads that can be laser overprinted (digital printing is not suitable for this)
Please be aware that litho printing has a longer turnaround time as we need to allow for the
inks to dry fully to avoid marking.
